The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a tri-service youth organization dedicated to grooming young individuals into disciplined, responsible, and patriotic citizens. Its primary objective is to foster character, leadership, discipline, a secular outlook, and a spirit of adventure among the youth. The NCC training programme encompasses institutional training, leadership development, personality enhancement, communication skills, and a range of activities designed to prepare cadets for responsible citizenship.

Scottish High International School is proud to host an authorised wing of the National Cadet Corps (NCC), providing structured training opportunities for both boys and girls. Through a rigorous and enriching training programme, our Highlander cadets develop a strong sense of discipline, duty, resilience, and social responsibility. They proudly represent the school by participating in the Republic Day and Independence Day parades and actively engage in the Annual NCC Camp, where they further enhance their leadership, teamwork, and endurance.

On completing two years of NCC training, cadets are awarded the prestigious NCC 'A' Certificate. This certification offers several advantages, including additional weightage during admissions to professional courses and enhanced eligibility for careers in the Armed Forces and other uniformed services, making it a valuable achievement in a student's personal and professional journey.
