A Celebration of Cultures, Histories, and Connections!

Scottish High International School proudly hosted its International Food Festival & Cultural Exchange, a vibrant celebration of the diverse cultures that shape our world. Going beyond cuisine, the event highlighted the rich history, traditions, art, and cultural influences of different nations, while exploring the deep historical and contemporary connections between India and the global community.

Students thoughtfully represented countries from across the world through engaging presentations, immersive displays, authentic culinary experiences, and fascinating narratives that reflected each nation’s heritage. Their creativity and research brought history to life, fostering meaningful conversations about shared traditions, global influences, and the interconnectedness of societies.

The festival served as a powerful platform for experiential learning, encouraging students to appreciate cultural diversity, recognise the threads that connect civilisations, and embrace the values of inclusivity, empathy, and global citizenship. Breast Cancer Awareness Session at Scottish High International School, Gurgaon

Scottish High International School, Gurgaon was honoured to host a meaningful Breast Cancer Awareness Session for our female faculty members by Dr. Neeti Leekha Chhabra, Founder- President of Yes to Life, breast cancer survivor, and TEDx speaker; Ms. Madhu Narain, a cancer survivor and patient support volunteer; and Ms. Mona Chawla, educator, counsellor, and oncology caregiver.

The session focused on raising awareness about breast cancer by addressing common myths, highlighting risk factors, recognising early warning signs, and stressing the importance of regular self-examinations, clinical check-ups, and timely screenings. Through their personal journeys and professional experiences, the speakers inspired participants with messages of resilience, hope, and the power of early detection. They also emphasised the importance of emotional support, compassionate caregiving, and creating a community that encourages open conversations about women’s health.

The session concluded with a powerful reminder that awareness, early detection, and timely intervention can save lives.

Scottish High Celebrates Outstanding Grade XII IBDP Results 2026

It makes us immensely proud to share with you that our Highlanders have made us exceedingly proud with their exceptional performance in Grade XII IBDP May 2026 Examinations.

– Arshia Sharma is the School Topper with a perfect score of 45 Grade Points.

– Ditya Agarwal and Snigdha Saxena follow closely with 44 Grade Points.

– Vedant Singhal also excelled with 43 Grade Points. 30 % students have scored 40 Grade Points and above. Scottish High congratulates all parents and students.

Scottish High Achieves 100% Pass Rate in Grade XII IBCP Results

We are delighted to announce that our Highlanders have once again made us very proud with their outstanding performance in the Grade XII – IBCP Examination.

Maintaining our 100% pass rate streak, we are pleased to share that our students have been awarded the following:

– IBCP certificate
– ⁠American High School Diploma
– ⁠International Advanced Diploma in Business Administration

Our students made us proud by securing:

– Charvi Nagpal – O (Outstanding) in all 4 CRS subjects with the aggregate of 98.25% marks as well as 7 Grade Points in one DP subject, 6 Grade Points in two DP subjects and A in Reflective Project.

– Tisha Saxena – O (Outstanding) in all 4 CRS subjects with the aggregate of 98.25% marks as well as 6 Grade Points in all three DP subjects and B in Reflective Project.

– Ranvijay Singh Saini – 3 O (Outstanding) and 1 A * in CRS subjects with the aggregate of 97.5% marks as well as 6 Grade Points in all three DP subjects and A in Reflective Project.

Educational Tour to Japan 2026 | Scottish High International School

As part of its commitment to providing meaningful global learning experiences, Scottish High International School organised an educational tour to Japan for 21 Highlanders from Grades VI to XII in collaboration with EdTerra. Accompanied by Ms. Pratibha Abrol, Ms. Kiran, and one journey mentor from EdTerra , the students travelled from 06 June 2026 to 14 June 2026. The nine-day programme took students across several prominent destinations, including Tokyo, Nagoya, Hiroshima, Kyoto, Kobe, and Osaka. Through visits to cultural landmarks, historical sites, world-class museums, and scenic locations, students gained valuable insights into Japan’s society, values, and way of life. The journey began in Tokyo, where students visited the historic Senso-ji Temple and gained insights into Japanese traditions and cultural practices. They also participated in a calligraphy workshop, gaining hands-on experience of a traditional Japanese art form. A visit to the Ginza district offered a glimpse into the modern and vibrant side of Japanese city life. One of the highlights of the trip was the visit to the JAXA Space Centre, where students explored Japan’s achievements in space research and technology. The group then travelled towards the Mount Fuji region. Although adverse weather conditions prevented a visit to the Fifth Station as originally planned, students were able to enjoy spectacular views of Mount Fuji and appreciate its significance in Japanese culture. They also visited Oshino Hakkai, a charming traditional village known for its crystal-clear ponds and scenic surroundings. The visit provided students with an authentic glimpse into local food, rural Japanese life and local traditions. The journey continued to Nagoya, where students visited the SCMAGLEV and Railway Park. They learnt about the evolution of Japan’s railway network and experienced exhibits showcasing the country’s world renowned Shinkansen and Maglev technology. The group also explored the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology. Travelling aboard the Shinkansen itself was a memorable experience, providing a firsthand understanding of Japan’s advanced transportation systems and reinforcing many of the concepts encountered during the museum visits. A brief visit to Kyoto University offered valuable exposure to the academic environment of one of Japan’s most prestigious institutions of higher education. The visit to Hiroshima was one of the most moving experiences of the tour. Students learnt about the devastating impact of the atomic bombing. The experience left many students emotional and reflective, while reinforcing the importance of peace, empathy, and respect for human life. The educational tour concluded with a visit to Universal Studios Japan, providing students with a perfect blend of entertainment and adventure. The exciting rides, themed attractions, and lively parade made it one of the most enjoyable and memorable experiences of the trip. Throughout the trip, students displayed responsibility, and enthusiasm. They adapted well to a new environment, respected local customs, and represented the school with maturity and pride. The experience enabled them to build stronger friendships, develop greater independence, and gain a deeper appreciation of different cultures and ways of life.
