IBDP Programme

Ms. Pooja Sharma

Diploma Programme Coordinator

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is a highly-regarded academic programme for students aged 16-19 that offers an international education and a globally-recognized qualification. The IBDP curriculum is designed to develop well-rounded students who are knowledgeable, open-minded, and able to think critically. It is based on the principles of intercultural understanding and respect, which are essential in today’s increasingly interconnected world.

The programme consists of six subject groups, including language and literature, individuals and societies, sciences, mathematics, arts, and languages. In addition, students are required to complete the core components of the programme, which include the Extended Essay, theory of Knowledge, and Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS).

Learning Beyond the Classroom

The IBDP is an excellent preparation for university and beyond, it aims to develop life-long learners who have ability to adapt in a rapidly changing society. An IB education is unique because of its rigorous academic and personal standards as it challenges students to excel not only in their studies but also in their personal growth. A global community of IB World Schools put these principles into practice, developing standards for high-quality education to which they hold themselves mutually accountable.

At our school, often regarded as one of the best IB schools in Gurgaon, we are committed to providing a challenging and supportive learning environment for our IBDP students. We strive to help our students reach their full potential by providing excellent teaching and learning resources, as well as a range of co-curricular activities and opportunities for personal growth and development. We explore and celebrate cultural differences in a challenging, nurturing and intentionally multi-ethnic educational environment to foster global citizenship, helping students grow as individuals without parochial biases and with critical thinking skills necessary to improve their world. As an IB Coordinator, I am proud to oversee the implementation of this programme at our school and I am confident that our students will go on to achieve great things in their future endeavours.
