]]> The students of grade 8 CLS performed a lab activity on measuring the density of regular and irregular objects. They used various measuring tools such as a ruler, measuring cylinder and balance to measure the dimensions and mass and volume of the objects. They then calculated the volume and density of each object using the appropriate formulas. The students learned that the density of an object is constant and can be used to identify materials. They also observed that irregular objects have different densities in different parts of the object, and multiple measurements may be needed to accurately determine their density. Overall, the lab activity helped the students develop their measurement skills and understand the concept of density.
