
The Inter-Clan Solo Singing Competition for Grade 8 was conducted on 18th February in the AV Room, Phase V. The event featured eight participants, with two representatives each from Anderson, Boyd, Lamont, and MacArthur clans.
The Highlanders presented a variety of Hindi and English songs of their choice, displaying confidence, expression, and vocal skill. The competition was judged by Mrs. Suzanne Armstrong, Mr. Sachin Gakkhar, and Mr. Tony Fernandes, who appreciated the preparation and musicality shown by all performers. The audience was delighted to hear each performance and wholeheartedly applauded and cheered for every participant who performed.
The performances were closely matched, making the final decision a challenging one for the judges. The event was carried out smoothly and reflected the enthusiasm and dedication of the participants, making it an enjoyable experience for all the students and staff present at this International School in Gurgaon, where Highlanders continue to explore and showcase their talents.
