
An English Extempore Competition was successfully organized on 21st April 2025, Monday at Scottish High International School, providing a dynamic platform for students to showcase their spontaneity, confidence, and command over the English language. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of grade VI, each eager to express their thoughts on a given topic-“ The most memorable trip with my family”.
The competition was judged by Ms.Aakanksha Sharma and Ms.Harsimran Kaur who evaluated the students on criteria such as Diction, Clear presentation and organization of ideas and Content. The judges were highly impressed with the students’ performances, applauding their ability to think on their feet and deliver meaningful messages.
The event concluded by telling the winners and certificates were awarded to the top performers, and all participants.
Overall, the English Extempore Competition was a resounding success, fostering a spirit of confidence, critical thinking, and effective public speaking among the students.
