The Inter-Clan Declamation Competition for French, German, and Spanish was held with great enthusiasm and fervour on Wednesday, 23rd July 2025 in VMH, celebrating the beauty of global languages and the power of expression. Students from all clans participated passionately, showcasing their linguistic skills, confidence, and oratory finesse in the target language.
Participants delivered well-researched and emotive speeches on the given topic with clear pronunciation, expressive intonation, and strong vocabulary accompanied by the presentation. The competition was judged on parameters such as content, fluency, pronunciation, expression, and stage presence.
The event was a true reflection of the students’ dedication and the teachers’ consistent mentoring in foreign language acquisition. It not only boosted learners’ confidence in public speaking but also deepened their appreciation for global languages and cultures.
The SHIS Model G20 Conference convened over 150 delegates from 11 schools for a productive two-day event focused on diplomacy, discussion, and global engagement.
