At Scottish High International School, we believe that meaningful change begins with awareness and responsible action. To foster this understanding, our Grade 6 students recently attended an informational session on E-Waste Management aimed at building early awareness of sustainability. The session highlighted the mindful use of gadgets, the hazards of careless e-waste disposal, and the importance of shifting from a linear economy of “take, use, dispose” to a circular economy of “reduce, reuse, recycle.” Students also learned the significance of handing over e-waste only to authorised recyclers to ensure safe handling and recovery of resources. This initiative encouraged students to reflect on their everyday choices and inspired them to adopt sustainable practices that contribute to a cleaner and greener future.
