The Scottish High International School successfully conducted the Grade VI Parent Orientation on 4th April 2026, led by Dr Neha, bringing together parents and school leaders to mark the beginning of the new academic session. The session served as an informative platform to familiarize parents with the academic structure, expectations, and key initiatives planned for the year ahead.
During the orientation, detailed insights were shared regarding the assessment cycle, helping parents understand the evaluation process and how it supports students’ academic growth. The introduction of the badge system was also highlighted as a means to recognize high achievers and motivate students to strive for excellence. Additionally, the importance of co-curricular activities was emphasized, reinforcing the school’s focus on holistic development beyond academics.
Dr Neha also addressed the growing need for psychoeducation in today’s digital age, with a special focus on responsible gadget use. Parents were guided on the importance of digital wellbeing, along with effective parental control and supervision strategies to ensure the safety and balanced development of children.
Overall, the orientation reflected the school’s continued commitment to fostering a supportive partnership with parents and nurturing well-rounded, responsible learners equipped for both academic success and life beyond the classroom.
