
The Scottish High International School successfully conducted the Parent Orientation for Grades IX and X by Dr. Neha Singh Maurya, providing parents with valuable insights into the academic expectations, career planning opportunities, and developmental needs of students entering the senior school years.
The session highlighted the integrated curriculum structure, the importance of building strong academic and extracurricular profiles from Grade IX onwards, and supporting career exploration and university planning. Parents were also encouraged to motivate students to actively participate in clubs, competitions, and school activities to promote holistic development.
Academic planning and board examination preparedness were key focus areas, with guidance provided on effective time management, consistent effort, and maintaining a balanced approach to learning. The school also shared its academic achievements and addressed common misconceptions regarding different educational boards and competitive examination eligibility.
An important segment of the orientation focused on digital wellbeing and social media awareness. Parents were guided on managing screen time, promoting online safety, establishing healthy digital habits, and supporting their children in navigating the challenges of the digital world.
