The Annual Athletic Meet for Grades VI to VIII, held from 2nd to 4th February 2026, was not merely a sporting event—it was a celebration of determination, courage, and the indomitable spirit of Highlanders at Scottish High International School, widely regarded as one of the best international schools in Gurgaon.
Over three exhilarating days, the field came alive with energy as students pushed their limits and rose to new heights. From the lightning speed of the 100m, 200m, and 400m races to the electrifying 4×100m relay, every stride reflected passion and perseverance. The long jump witnessed a surge in confidence, while the shot put and discus throw reflected the strength and focus of our young athletes. Each event became a testament to discipline, resilience, and the will to excel.
The occasion was graciously inaugurated by our esteemed Principal, Dr. Sanjay Sachdeva, who declared the meet open and inspired the students with his encouraging presence. The atmosphere grew solemn and proud as the Highlanders took the oath, pledging to uphold the true spirit of sportsmanship, fairness, and integrity. Their unified voices resonated across the ground, symbolizing commitment, unity, and honour.
The meet was not just about medals or victories—it was about discovering inner strength, building character, and learning that true success lies in giving one’s best.
