
An online workshop on Academic Honesty & Citation was conducted for the Highlanders of Grade XI IBDP (2021-23) on 11th August 2021 from 3:00 pm onwards. It was an interactive session where the following points were discussed:
v Academic Honesty – its importance.
v Breaches to IB regulation in relation to Academic honesty.
v Plagiarism – its consequences, how to detect and avoid plagiarism.
v Citation – why, what, when and how to cite.
v Citation style overview – APA & MLA
v IB recommended citation style.
v Bibliography – its importance and its use.
Various queries of students regarding citation format, breaches to IB regulations, Academic dishonesty etc. have been clarified.
