
The MFL department celebrated The Bastille Day or the French National Day on 14th July 2022, Thursday. The students from Grade 4 – 12 participated enthusiastically in the different activities designed for them. All the students learning French language wore small French flag indicating their zeal of accepting and appreciating the new culture.
The Primary students wore different attires of the colour of French flag and shared beautiful facts, tongue twisters and rhymes as an oral activity in the target language along with a bookmark and card-making activity. The students from other grades made bookmarks and posters depicting what French language means to them. The students of grades IX-XII prepared various French tongue twisters and presented them in the class. The students took part actively in all the activities, while learning more about the language and the culture at the same time and their zeal of continuing French language was prominent.
