I really appreciate the way teachers have stepped up, for I know how much efforts and preparation it takes for a 40 min class with such young children. Though as parents, we have to dedicate more time for Anika’s revision/assignments etc but it’s fair considering the unprecedented situation that we are in. Both Advay and I have loved interacting with you. Loved it totally. It’s endearing to see Advay has formed a bond given so much distance. This is purely your commitment and style of learning that my son is attached. You should be very proud!

Case in point: he wakes on Saturdays and asks “Ma why no Poonam Sharma ma’am class today!” 😊.

With respect to classes, the quality has seen a marked improvement. To be fair, this change from in person education to virtual has been tough for both teachers as well learners.

I’ll mention two things that all the teachers need to keep high on their radars:

I continue to feel it is extremely difficult to get a 6year old to stay focused on a screen nonstop. To that effect, smaller batches go along way to solve for this challenge. If the batches get merged, I would be quite worried about the quality and the ability for Advay to stay focused.

Another challenge I feel that exists with online medium is, louder and more extrovert kids get a natural advantage. My son is an introvert and is a very soft speaker. Sometimes I’ve noticed what he is expressing is not fully getting thru because he speaks so softly. Again, I don’t have not good way of solving for it but it is a very important call out for teachers.

Except from this, I am very very glad he got you as his class teacher. You ve been very patient and very accommodating and we love you!

Inspite if being a new new medium of learning, im really happy with the way the kids are being taught and attention is given to each one of them.. all the new concepts , be in matras, nouns, bigger numbers, readinf etc, are well taught by them! In these formative years, its really important that the kids learn the concepts clearly and though i was apprehensive about the online learning, im very satisfied with the results! All the work, home assignments, reading etc she does on her own with no help from me and I was surprised to see that she is comfortable with it! These covid era has been testing time for all, but these smart kids are very adaptive to any new challenges that’s thrown to them at any point of time…Thanks to school and specially the teachers even in these restraints the academic part planning and involvement of the kids has been just perfect.

Too much of screen time was always a concern but I think it’s just apt right now with a mix of online classes and then offline completion of the assigned tasks which is balancing itself in just the right way as of now.

we have always been happy with school’s outlook since we joined and became a part last year with nothing much left to be demanded.

As parents the way we know our child being a bit shy to new people ..she got the right exposure, support and opportunity from the school and class teacher and eas able to outshine. Her potential and ma’am’s experience and guidance is making us all proud.

She had told me you are the best teacher one could get in class v .Mam I am so impressed by your style of teaching as per ishanvi u are a maths genius and make it so fun to read🙂. Also your rich experience is quiet evident how quickly and rightly you have observed ishanvi ,I am extremely happy u are her teacher ,I could not have asked for anything more 🙏🏻

It was our first interaction with Smita Ma’am. We got to know how Aabir is faring in class and also sharing with her on what Aabir does beyond academics. I’m sure such interactions give the teacher a better insight into the child. Ma’am was a very good listener, very patient and she was genuinely interested in getting to know Aabir better and about his well being during the lockdown. She is also always available on phone whenever Aabir or we have any queries. Thank you ma’am for being so accessible and so patient.

Thank you for your time and feedback in today’s PTM. While we both continue to work on Samarjit and take out best out of him, I would also like to say few things. At this pandemic situation where worry fear was going around about self and kids too, Scottish high has really managed everything so efficiently not only at their own end but also giving us so much confidence that our child’s future is in very safe hand. Declaring holiday at the right time, starting with a very few assignments in beginning then gradually increasing the pace to an extend every child gets adapted to it. In fact this effort is so successful that I could hear from other parents too and see my own kids enjoying these online classes very much. Thanks to you also Mam where you have been always connecting thru Whatss up and also checking with me in between too frequently if everything is fine. The Friday fun classes messages were awesome where kids start practicing their themes, being creative to give their best and prove themself best in online classes in front of their peers. Another good thing Mam is that you upload everything in files so for a busy mom like me I can easily access those files and help kid recap the session at my own convenient time. The answer sheets are also thoroughly checked and sent for our reviews. So many good things and practices is being done and followed. I do discuss about these with my corporate colleagues too. I also appreciate the letter from principal Mam which is very crisp and clearly written to us. Kudos to Scottish high management team, dear principal Mam and to you too. We are proud parents.

Firstly I would like to say thank you for a Well being call. It’s great to see that you are taking so much pain to make the online schooling to be successful.

Divyansh always talks very positive and highly of you. Divyansh is super excited about the recent pair activity and the Friday fun sessions.

I would like to acknowledge and place on record our thanks and appreciation for the following:

1) The entire MS teams set up of Scottish high. It’s not only working well but is very well organised at the school’s end.

2) The proactive approach to review the assignments and feedback given by teachers;

3) The quality of assignments sent as homework is great;

4) Now organising physical/ extracurricular activities (like music, dance etc) also on Teams

While we all want this phase to get over but the school management, administration and teachers have once again stepped up and led by example for Children that “ where there is will there is a way”.
