The Inter-Clan Modern Foreign Languages Poetry Recitation Competition for Grade VII was successfully conducted by the Modern Foreign Languages Department on Tuesday, 5th November 2024.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across all clans. It provided an engaging platform for them to showcase their linguistic and oratory talents. Participants presented poetry on the topic “My Family” enriched with visually appealing PowerPoint slides that enhanced the overall experience for the audience. The recitations highlighted the students’ impressive command of their respective target languages and their ability to express themselves creatively.
A panel of esteemed language teachers judged the competition. Performances were evaluated based on key criteria, including pronunciation, content of PPT, and overall presentation. After careful deliberation, the judges announced the winners for each language category. The first, second, and third place holders were commended for their outstanding performances, while all participants were applauded for their efforts and enthusiasm. The event was a resounding success, celebrating the students’ linguistic abilities and fostering a deeper appreciation for foreign languages. It left both participants and the audience inspired and eager to take part in future competitions.
