On the 1st of May, 2024, the school organized a field trip for the students of XI IBDP and XI IBCP to Sparsa Digital Pvt. Ltd. and Sparsa Café to teach them practical skills used throughout the levels of hierarchy within various departments in businesses along with the growing important impact of AI on businesses. Meeting up Abheer Narula’s parents: the director of Sparsa Digital Pvt. Ltd. Vishal Narula, and the owner of Sparsa Café Shikha Narula, truly provided the students with some insights into their USPs and how such businesses are incorporating new technological advancements to assist them in collaborating, supporting and building better relationships with other big companies, for example: Samsung, Mercedez Benz, and Fortis.
Students gained further knowledge about the hardships companies undergo and the challenges they face while starting up, for instance, along with the processes of management that businesses work their way through. This field trip contributed to helping all of them in developing certain IB Learner Profiles such as Knowledgeable, Inquirers, Risk-takers, Communicators, and even Reflective.
Scottish High International took the initiative and planned this day trip for the students of IB to assist students in applying their theories to the real-world and perceive it for themselves. This helped them acquire a knowledge of the organizational structure, level of hierarchy, as well as the numerous departments of a business, i.e.: Marketing, Sales, Human Resources, Finance, Operations, and Administration. At Sparsa Digital Pvt. Ltd., the school collaborated with their faculty to dive in depth regarding their digital advancements, like interactive touchscreens, digital display boards, flatscreens, and also transparent LEDs & LCDs, which left the students pretty fascinated. Lastly, it was a rather enlightening educative excursion for everyone.
Our Grade V Highlanders showcased exemplary social responsibility by leading a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with the Rotary Club. This outstanding initiative, a key component of the PYP Exhibition’s Social and Emotional Awareness drive, garnered an overwhelming response from parents and the broader school community.
