I would like to sincerely thank you for taking out your valuable time to visit our home as part of the Parent-Teacher Home Connect initiative. It was truly a great pleasure to welcome and serve you.

I genuinely believe this initiative is wonderful, especially for the children. When teachers personally visit and understand how the child lives, their environment, and their daily life, it makes the child feel very special, nurtured, and emotionally connected. These small yet meaningful efforts help children grow stronger and more confident every passing day.

A great example is my son Harihaan. I can clearly see how much he feels valued and encouraged through the love, care, and support he receives from you and the school. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for all the time, kindness, patience, and dedication you put into my child every single day at school. I can truly see him growing stronger, happier, and better with each passing day.

I am also extremely grateful to the entire SHIS team for creating such a warm, friendly, and positive environment for my child. I truly believe this is the main reason behind my son’s 100% attendance year after year. If this continues, I am sure he may even break all attendance records in the coming years.

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for Ms. Mahalaxmi, the English teacher for Class 7.

In a child’s learning journey, teachers play a crucial role not just in imparting knowledge but in shaping attitudes and confidence. I would like to acknowledge the thoughtful effort Ms. Mahalaxmi puts into her evaluation and feedback.

On 16th March, when the answer sheets were shared, I reviewed them with my son. While going through his English paper, I noticed that along with the score (60/80) there was  an encouraging remark “Good.” More importantly, throughout the paper, wherever there were mistakes, Ms. Mahalaxmi had carefully provided corrections and meaningful comments to guide improvement.

What truly stood out was that her feedback went beyond just marking errors—it provided clear guidance on how to improve. This approach not only helps students correct their mistakes but also develops a constructive outlook towards them. Instead of feeling discouraged, children learn to see mistakes as opportunities to grow, which is an invaluable mindset.

In comparison with other subjects, where feedback was minimal or absent, her effort was particularly noticeable. These seemingly small but thoughtful actions make a significant difference in how a child learns and responds to challenges.

Scottish High International School is a reputed institution, and such thoughtful gestures and constructive feedback are exactly what one hopes to see at a broader level. While schools often focus on identifying mistakes, guidance on improvement makes a lasting difference in a child’s learning journey.

As a parent, I deeply appreciate this level of dedication, which has been consistent throughout the year. It has had a positive impact on my son, helping him better understand his areas of improvement while staying motivated.

I am writing to you as Adira Vig’s mother to share a few words from the heart about Namita Ma’am and the beautiful impact she has had on Class 4E.

Namita Ma’am has been so much more than a teacher to the children. She has guided them with the warmth of a mother while also being a firm, thoughtful mentor who brought out the best in each child. The way she connected with the kids, understood them, encouraged them, and helped them grow academically and emotionally, this has been truly special.

As parents, we felt a deep sense of comfort knowing our children were in such caring and capable hands. Her calm presence, patience, and constant encouragement meant a lot not just to the kids, but to us as well. She built confidence, discipline, and trust in such a natural way.

We will truly miss her, not only as a teacher for the children, but even as parents, we will miss her as a coach and guide. Her warmth and dedication have left a lasting mark on 4E, and we are deeply grateful for everything she has done.

I am writing as the parent of Sutikshna Rao, a student in Grade 5/B , to express my sincere gratitude for the outstanding exhibition held recently at the school. My son actively participated alongside his friends, collaborating to create impressive models that explained the SDG goals. They also performed a lively dance, sang a wonderful song, and enacted an engaging skit, which truly brought the themes to life.

It was heartening to see his classmates contribute similarly with such enthusiasm. The event was impeccably organized, with clear demonstrations through charts across all subjects, showcasing the tremendous hard work put in by the class teacher ( Ms.Vijaya ma’am) and every student. This kind of hands-on learning experience not only boosted their creativity and teamwork but also made learning fun and memorable.

Thank you once again for fostering such enriching opportunities. We feel proud to be part of this vibrant school community.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to you and the school for the wonderful guidance and support provided to my daughter Ananya Bansal-5C. She has successfully completed Class 5 with excellent results, and we truly appreciate the efforts of her teachers.

Her class teacher – Aruna Mam has been extremely responsible, always attentive, and very supportive. She consistently motivated the students, kept them engaged, and ensured that all concepts were clearly understood. Her cheerful and encouraging nature made a big difference in the children’s learning experience. 

I would also like to thank her Hindi teacher – Sita Mam, who has been equally dedicated and positive. She made learning enjoyable and helped the students understand the subject very clearly and Ananya was able to score full marks in the subject. 

We are sincerely grateful to both the teachers for their hard work, care, and commitment towards the students.

This being the first class the children have appeared for exams, I am especially happy to see how well she has done. What truly stands out to me is not just her academic performance, but also her overall development. Her understanding, confidence, and personality are evolving so beautifully, and I can clearly see the positive influence of the school and your guidance.

Thank you for planning and coordinating such a successful PYP Exhibition on 13^th February’2026. All the children were buzzing with energy, eager to share their ideas and weeks of hard work. For us, however, it was more than just an exhibition!

Aariv had chosen the topic of Automation, which has been his passion for a long time. While we saw the posters being designed, we admit we were tense about the project as he spent hours using Copilot and ChatGPT for research but had little to show initially. As the submission timeline approached, we grew anxious, but Aariv remained calm. On the weekend before the exhibition, he surprised us by demonstrating how he had used a couple of sensors he had requested as his Birthday gift to develop a working model of a Sonar Machine. With no prior coding knowledge and just an old home laptop, he directed AI Tools to create customized code aligned with his imagination. It was an unexpected and proud moment for us. Watching him present confidently to other parents and receiving appreciation reaffirmed our faith in Aariv and in You as his mentor!

I wanted to write to you to share our experience and express our sincere appreciation as my daughter , Viyona Sharma, prepares to move into Year 6.

We joined the school mid term last year when Viyona entered Year 5, after our family relocated from London. It was quite a transition for our child and, as parents, we were naturally anxious about re- settling into the country, but more importantly into a new school and a new environment. The effort required to help a child adjust emotionally and socially during such a change cannot be overstated.

In this context, I cannot thank Mrs Rajan enough. She has been exceptionally calm, patient and thoughtful with Viyona. Her ability to understand and support our child emotionally made a significant difference in how smoothly the transition unfolded. What also stood out was her communication with us as parents. It was always clear, timely and reassuring, often coming even before we felt the need to reach out. This level of partnership made us feel included and confident that our child was in very safe hands.

Looking back, this has truly been one of our best experiences of parent teacher collaboration. The constant guidance, empathy and consistency Mrs Rajan demonstrated helped Viyona not just settle academically, but feel secure and confident again and eventually excel academically. Vijaya ma’am is undoubtedly an asset to the school and someone deserving of our heartfelt respect for the lasting impact she has had on us as a family.

I also wanted to mention that I returned from an intense period of business travel only last night, and I apologise for sending this note a bit later than I would have liked. It felt important, however, to take the time to acknowledge the role Mrs Rajan played in this important year for our child.

Thank you once again for the nurturing environment the school provides. We are deeply grateful to Vijaya ma’am and of course the school for the support and care shown to our family.
