Appreciation note for the gallery walk

Dear Principal Ma’am

Today I attended the gallery walk of my younger son Garv Agarwal (Std: IV B) and just wanted to share some feedback with you as well.

I am very happy and satisfied with the progress of Garv in the class and wanted to acknowledge the efforts being put in by his class teacher Ms. Hema Kapur. We have been interacting with her over the last few months and have seen her working very closely with the kids. She understands Garv very well and helps him work on any follow ups. Wanted to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Hema Ma’am and acknowledge all her hard work and efforts.

Look forward to the continued growth and development of Garv.

Best regards

Aditya Agarwal

Dear ma’am,

We are parents of Nandika Maheshwari class II G.

We attended gallery walk today and are short of worlds in congratulating school and Rimpi ma’am  for all the preparation and good work that’s gone into it.

It was heartening to see how well the kids were prepared. The conceptual understanding  and diversity of thoughts that’s being built into kids is exactly what we would like Nandika to grow up with than cramming the concepts. She is growing to be good independent kid who has clarity of thinking , we don’t need to explain anything to her again at home.

We are extremely thankful to her class teacher and school authorities to be co-opting so well with us in growing her up.

Thanks

Priyanka

Dear Seema Ma’am
Hope you are doing well !

We would like to thank and congratulate the school and Ms Shveta Vohra Ma’am for the wonderfully organized Gallery Walk.
Her hard work, dedication and effort was clearly visible in Mishika’s confidence and knowledge as she took us through her journey in Class 3 (I). We as parent’s felt that Mishika is not only developing all the attributes of IB learner profile but has also developed attributes of self- belief and being thoughtful in Scottish High.
Shveta Ma’am is definitely a great mentor and our heartfelt thanks to her for understanding and encouraging Mishika .

Dear Ma’am,

I would like to compliment you and the school for a wonderful FDP Programme and special mention to Shivani Ma’am for putting in all the hard work ( teaching these kids is not an easy task  )

  1. At the start of the session we had planned that we would be changing Udant’s school as he had lost focus in studies and what he used to be a couple of years back under Mrs Jyoti Chaudhary and Mrs Kanchan Khanna he was no longer that student. Coming from the Armed forces background I have been bought up in a very disciplined environment and it has done wonders for me in my career ahead and that’s the discipline I would have liked in Udant as well. But I guess Covid and then what he was learning in school was not helping at all.
  2. I still had faith in the school and told me wife that post the end of first session and post summer holiday’s we would go ahead and change the school- the hunt had begun and the schools were shortlisted, like I said I was extremely confident that a miracle would happen and Udant anyway did not want to change schools. Yes a miracle did happen and this time it was in the form of Shivani Ma’am ( I can compare her to the Wall- Our Current Coach Rahul Dravid) as if she wouldn’t have done what she had to Udant would have been in a different school now. Yes a lot of his friends changed school post 3rd Std but they did not know that Shivani Ma’am was waiting on the other side- too bad for them
  3. Shivani Ma’am has turned around things and she has actually rebuilt the foundation and has ensured that kids are prepared to move into the next grade with confidence. Things are going to get tougher from here and you need a strong support system and that’s what she has done by ensuring the right amount of strictness/follow up and enforcing on studies.

Teachers like Shivani Ma’am/Jyoti ma’am and Kanchan Ma’am keep the Scottish flag flying high and like I keep telling my colleagues/friends that it is not the school’s name or the location or the fees that they pay makes a student bright it is the teachers who are the back bone and strength of each child.

While Ms Shivani was taking photos during the Gallery Walk for each student along with the parent’s we decided that we should click a pic with the one person who has made it all possible and Udant should not forget the people who have been responsible for turning him around.

Happy Teacher’s Day in Advance  and Thank You for the Miracle and the faith. Last but not the least Ma’am you have been a pillar of strength and more power to you as I know that it is your hard work that keeps the Primary School together. Hope to see you smiling and helping others always

Best Regards,

Gaurav Malik
