In a world where borders are increasingly interconnected, the decision to introduce an additional language reflects our dedication to equipping students to excel in a globalized society. An additional language not only expands linguistic capabilities but also equips students with a broader perspective on various cultures and traditions. It nurtures a sense of appreciation for diversity and promotes tolerance and acceptance.
Keeping this in mind, an additional language orientation program was conducted for the parents of grade III on 18th January 2025, with the aim to guide the parents to make an informed decision regarding the selection of an additional language for the upcoming session 2025-26.
The event commenced with the address of Primary School Director Ms. Seema Bhati, who heartily welcomed the parents and emphasized the significance of selecting an additional language based on its merits. The nuances and teaching methodologies of all the four languages (French, German, Spanish and Sanskrit) were then intricately explained by the HoD of Modern Foreign Languages, Ms. Isha Verma through a brief power point presentation and it was also attended by the respective Additional language facilitators. All queries related to the same were also addressed during a Q&A session. The session was truly insightful and concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to everyone for their participation and contribution to its remarkable success.
