An ex-Commander of the Indian Navy, Dr Cdr. Kartikay Saini has spent over three decades of his distinguished career serving the country. The Founder Chairman of Scottish High International Flagship School, Gurugram, and The Scottish High School, Dwarka Expressway, distinguished educationist, Dr Saini serves as the Chair of the Cambridge Heads Committee of North India and is on the Executive Committee of the International Baccalaureate Heads Association of PAN India & South Asia.

Dr Saini's contributions to inclusion in sports and education are inimitable. He has served as Chairman of Special Olympics India, Chairman of Unified Sports for Special Olympics Asia Pacific, and as a Board Member of Special Olympics International in Washington, D.C., which mentors over 5.5 million athletes with intellectual disabilities across 177 countries.

An alumnus of the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, Dr Saini was commissioned as an officer in the Indian Navy, where he was honoured with a commendation from the Chief of Naval Staff for his dedication and commitment to Service. Dr Saini holds degrees of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Master of Business Administration (MBA), and Masters in Economics (M.Eco), along with a Doctorate in Education Entrepreneurship and Management. He is currently concluding his second PhD in Disability Studies.

A highly decorated Educationist, Dr Saini has been the recipient of over 200 national and international awards. His accolades include recognition from Forbes, Hindustan Times, the prestigious Derozio Award by the ICSE Board, Education Today, The Economic Times, and the title of "Education Evangelista" conferred by author Chetan Bhagat, along with honours from the Times of India Group, among many others. He was featured in the November 2024 edition of TIME Magazine USA and the February 2026 edition of Business Today. In recognition of his pioneering work in inclusive education, India Today featured him in their Special Edition "Remaking of India", marking the magazine's 50th anniversary, recognising him as one of the country's revolutionary Educationists.

A global icon in education, Dr Saini was honoured as Forbes Educationist of the Year at the UK House of Commons and is a speaker at the University of Oxford, UK. He is the current SUNFO Goodwill Ambassador of Sri Lanka to India for the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030 and has been honoured by the President of Mauritius for his contribution to education.

A serial TED speaker, Dr Saini was recently honoured with the title "Global Icon of Human Potential and Sustainable Education Leadership" at a United Nations-affiliated event held at the Library of Congress, Capitol Hill, Washington, D.C.

Dr Saini is a keen sportsperson and an ambassador of health & fitness. A yachtsman and a golfer, he believes that “Golf is not a game of perfect” and “Sports is fitness for not just the body but also the mind….”

Dr Saini is an avid writer who has contributed to dozens of journals and magazines, including the US Naval Institute's Proceedings. Dr Saini is also a researcher with numerous publications to his name. He is the author of 10 book chapters published by reputed publishers, including Taylor & Francis and IGI Global, and has written numerous articles for renowned academic journals such as the International Journal of Management and other Scopus-indexed and ABDC-listed journals. He is also a sought-after speaker at global platforms, including the IB Asia Pacific Conferences and International summits on leadership, governance, and inclusive education.
