
Sex and Health Education Workshop
An insightful workshop was held for the students of Grade VIII and IX at Scottish High International School by Pratisandhi Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to de- stigmatizing sexuality education. The session, led by Dr. Kaavya Sreedhar, Ms. Anisha Hallan, Ms. Suhani Goel and Ms. Sanah Srivastava, aimed to educate and empower students on vital subjects of sexual health and well-being. For Grade VIII, the focus was on “Understanding Menstruation and Reproductive Health,” where students were educated on topics such as anatomy, menstrual cycle and hygiene, pregnancy and sexual reproductive health. For Grade IX, the session covered “Understanding Consent, Values, and the Impact of Pornography,” addressing topics like consent, online safety, and the side effects of masturbation and pornography. Both sessions were well-received, with students participating in the discussions. The interactive activities and anonymous Q&A ensured a comfortable environment for learning as well
